About this Seminar
Computed Tomography has undergone a tremendous development since the Noble Prize winning works of Sir G. Hounsfield. CT has developed into an essential component of state-of-the art imaging. For these reasons, understanding the physical principals of Computed Tomography is essential for those working in the field as well as those thinking about entering it. The principles of CT data acquisition, image reconstruction, and image display will be discussed. A comprehensive review of CT image quality as well as the factors that affect image quality will be discussed.
This seminar will provide a foundation that will be useful for expanding your knowledge in this modality and will help you prepare for the CT examination.

interested in improving and expanding your CT imaging
capabilities, this seminar is for you. If you are Radiologic
Technologist thinking about entering the CT field or just
wanting to learn more about another modality, this seminar
will meet your needs. This program will provide a good review
of CT principles and concepts for those preparing for the ARRT
subspecialty examination in CT.

About the Instructor
|

Christine Eckenrod RT(R)(CT)
|
|
Christine has 20 years experience in Radiologic Sciences, 13
as a CT technologist. She is currently employed as
a CT/MR technologist with Alliance Imaging, INC. She
graduated from the Altoona Hospital School of Radiologic
Technology and is board certified in CT Scanning. She has
extensive experience in CT training and protocol
development. Christine presents a lighthearted, easy to
understand review of all of the basics of CT Scanning along
with some registry review. You will be sure to enjoy the
presentation while learning or refreshing your knowledge in
the field of CT Imaging.

This program provides 8 hours of Category A continuing
education credit recognized by the ARRT for radiologic
technologists, and credit from various licensure states. A
certificate of attendance will be provided for each
individual upon completion of the seminar. All attendees
must attend the entire seminar to receive full credit.

Qualifying 'Early' registrations must be made at least 14 days in advance.

received at least 3 days prior to the seminar. Cancellations received
within 3 days of the seminar will receive a credit toward a future
MTMI seminar, minus the $30 processing fee. No refunds will be
made after the seminar.
Registration Discounts
Group discount for a group from one facility registering at the same time: 3-5
attendees 5%; 6 or more attendees 10%. Group discounts for MTMI
Institutional Members can be as high as 25%, please contact MTMI for details
(discount is not applicable if the tuition is paid by purchase order). For
student rates, contact MTMI. Members of MTMI receive a discount. Only one
discount may be applied.

MTMI reserves the right to cancel any scheduled seminar due to low
advance registration or other reasons. MTMI’s liability is limited to a refund
of any program tuition paid. MTMI recommends that attendees use refundable
airline tickets for travel to seminars. In case of cancellation of a seminar for
any reason, MTMI is not responsible for travel costs incurred by attendees
including non-refundable airline tickets.
