Adapting to the All-Digital Department
8 Hours ARRT Category A Credit
Judi Painter, RT(R), MBA/HMSA
|
|
About this Seminar
Digital imaging is transitioning from "early adopter" status to being found in use in many hospitals and clinics today. A facility's adoption of digital radiography can span the gamut from simply adding computer image filing capabilities all the way to a nearly paperless department. This seminar addresses issues and strategies for success in a digital department for those currently using digital equipment and for those in the planning stage.
|
Educational Objectives
The objective of the overall day is to provide a "real world view" of what it is like to take a department digital and to:
- Educate participants on how to become organized, assess staffing and build an efficient project team for a digital transition.
- Provide tips and solutions on how to choose the best equipment vendors at the right price.
- Provide ways to ensure a successful efficient implementation.
- Bring awareness to conflict resolution during a changing environment and how to effectively manage our own reactions.
- Discuss expectations after the department is digital and how to stay cutting edge.
