This seminar is a comprehensive review of issues important to executing a quality mammographic exam, and provides valuable information on digital
mammography and other emerging breast imaging technologies. This seminar will help you learn about advanced imaging techniques, handling the difficult
patient QA of digital units, MQSA certification issues and to prepare for the ARRT advanced level certification.

professionals involved in providing breast-imaging services.

About the Instructor
|
|
Olive Peart M.S., RT(R)(M)
|
|
Olive Peart M.S., R.T.(R)(M) is a clinical instructor at the
Stamford Hospital School of Radiography in Stamford CT.
Through her books, writings and lectures Ms. Peart has always
expressed a keen interest in mammography and breast imaging
and still enjoys working with patients. Her technical query
column appears regularly in Radiologic Technology - Journal
of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, and
she is an editorial consultant and contributor to RT Image.
Ms. Peart is the author of Spanish for Professionals in
Radiology, an English to Spanish translation of
often-used, technical terms and radiological instructions. She
has also authored Lange Mammography Examination, a
one-stop review for the ARRT mammography examination, and a
comprehensive book on breast imaging, Mammography and
Breast Imaging: Just the Facts,. Ms. Peart has a
comprehensive knowledge of imaging the breast and will share
that knowledge at this seminar.

Seminar Credit
|
This program provides 8 hours of Category A continuing
education credit (including 2 hours on Digital Mammography) for radiologic technologists recognized by
the ARRT and various licensure states. ASRT Category A credit is also
recognized by CAMRT’s Continuing Education Credit Approval Program for CE credit
in Canada. A certificate of attendance will be provided for each individual upon
completion of the seminar.

attendees 5%; 6 or more attendees 10%. Group discounts for MTMI
Institutional Members can be as high as 25%, please contact MTMI for details
