About this Webinar
The program provides an overview of Pediatric Ultrasound Gastrointestinal Imaging (GI) Imaging and associated disorders. The attending will be able to recognize and identify clinical indications for each exam, image acquisition and scanning techniques based on case studies and imaging scanning examples.

Karla Skates, B.S., RDMS
Karla graduated from The College of Health Care Profession with honors in 2011. Upon graduation, Karla has earned multiple registries through ARDMS in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Fetal Echo. While working as a sonographer, Karla went on to earn her degree in Psychology from the University of Incarnate Word. Throughout her career, Karla has dedicated her passion for sonography to helping and educating others in many facets. She has worked in general imaging, pediatric sonology, interventional ultrasound, as well as maternal fetal medicine. She has worked as an instructor, teaching students who desire to pursue a career in sonography. Karla currently works as a Clinical Applications Specialist. Karla continues to mentor and tutor sonographers in her community.
