The Clinical Education and Accreditation Coordinator is a highly-motivated, innovative, strategic, analytical, detail oriented and self-driven individual that will provide assistance with continuing education accreditation, content review and appropriate credit hours for accreditation submission, and approval follow up and completions. This individual will need medical imaging technical experience and have a passion for course presentation content analysis, recommend feedback to speakers, as well as creation and presentation of course (s) relevant to the medical imaging community.

 

Clinical Education Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate clinical education for all clinical centers.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the clinical education component of the program 
  • Evaluate the competency-based clinical system and recommend revisions as necessary.
  • Maintain federal, state and accreditation compliance
  • Prepare students for clinical rotations and complete pre-clinical documentation
  • Maintain records of the overall clinical rotation schedule and attendance of students.
  • Maintains the MTMI master affiliation agreement list/database including pre-clinical requirements and documentation.
  • Serves as the point of contact to assist with new clinical affiliation agreements and has the responsibility of monitoring and maintaining compliance with affiliation agreement requirements.
  • Ensure and maintain compliance standards at all times and hold students to established clinical standards
  • Attend clinical educators, radiology, and educator workshops, seminars, and conferences to remain up to date in knowledge of imaging techniques, educational methodology and ARRT standards.
  • Assist the Director of Education and Accreditation and the VP of Program and Partnership Development with overall program effectiveness.
  • Participate in continuing education and attend district, state, and/or national professional organizational meetings.
  • Strive consistently to be a positive example for MTMI, the sponsoring institutions, the community, the students, and customers of MTMI
  • Participate and assist with clinical site development 
  • Utilize computer programs and required software as required.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, Outlook)
  • Meet all established deadlines as outlined
  • Assist with all other duties as assigned

Education and Accreditation Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of day-to-day tasks that are crucial to the courses accreditation approval process. 
  • Assist to obtain, review, analyze, and submit course content application to ASRT, ACCME, CAMPEP, BOC, FPTA, ACI, Global CPD, and other authoritative professions approving bodies. 
  • Assist with course design and development
  • Create and monitor open lines of communication with the speakers to ensure course materials timely submission and review, practice or dry-run, and up to the actual date of course presentations.   
  • Assist with new and renewal applications to maintain MTMI’s accreditations from various professional accrediting bodies.   
  • Assist with ARRT CE distributions and updates
  • Support customer service answering phones and other duties as needed/assigned. 
  • Participate in “On-Call” duties on occasional weeknights and weekends. 
  • Prepare and set up A/V requirements during presentations.  
  • Provide audio and web based support during speaker practice runs, webinars and customer support 
  • Coordinate and track participant registrations and relay to appropriate co-workers. 
  • Work closely with speakers throughout webinar to ensure the webinar sessions run smoothly. 
  • Prepare necessary equipment/material for each assigned webinar. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • Baccalaureate degree required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Prior experience in education or a related field preferred
