Jeffrey Palmucci

Jeff Palmucci is currently the Chief Executive Officer at the Vanderbilt University-Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital in Nashville, and was previously the Administrative Director of Radiology at Vanderbilt’s Children’s Hospital.

Jeff joined AHRA in 1988, and served as the association president in 2007-2008. Prior to his presidency, he served as a member of the AHRA Board of Directors from 2001 through 2009. In 2010, he received the AHRA Award for Excellence, in 2011 he was voted the “most effective Radiology Administrator” award by the Aunt Minnie web-site, and in 2013 he was awarded the AHRA’s Gold Award, its highest honor, for his contributions to our organization and to the profession of Radiology.

Jeff is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s College of Maine with a BS in Healthcare Administration. He has been a director since 1987, starting his career as a director at a tiny community hospital in the heart of Amish country Ohio. Jeff has also been a director at the Children’s Hospitals in both Milwaukee, WI and Akron, OH.

Jeff has taught various sessions for the AHRA Basic Leadership course since it began in 2007, and has been a regular contributor to our publication, Radiology Management, as well as many other Radiology-related journals, and has co-authored a textbook on Evidenced-Based Management in Healthcare.
