Sonja Boiteaux

Over the last 20 years Sony has educated hundreds of students, from around the world, to become entry-level technologists, as well as in-field, practicing radiographers and radiation therapists to elevate themselves and our profession by obtaining their MR credential from the ARRT. Ms. Boiteaux serves as the MRI Associate Program Director at UT MD Anderson School of Health Professions. Sony is responsible for administration, curriculum development, didactic teaching, and clinical coordination of students in the traditional Bachelor’s of Science degree program. In 2014, she also established a MRI Certificate program to meet growing MR educational needs in Radiation Oncology.  Her passion for teaching is reflected in her role to teach continuing education and her current election as a nominee for President- Elect of the Society for MR Radiographers and Technologists.
