Sohil Patel, MD, is the medical director of MRI at UVA. His clinical expertise includes all aspects of diagnostic neuroradiology. His research has involved conventional and advanced MRI evaluation of brain tumors, orbital MRI, head and neck imaging, and quality improvement projects in diagnostic neuroimaging. An associate professor of radiology and medical imaging, Patel was recognized with the Paul M. Dee Teacher of the Year award in 2018 for his efforts to educate, mentor, and train future providers.
