David A. Scaduto, PhD, DABR, is an American Board of Radiology-certified diagnostic medical physicist. He earned his doctorate in Medical Physics from Stony Brook University School of Medicine, where he wrote a dissertation on clinically translating contrast-enhanced x-ray breast imaging technologies. An active member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, Dr. Scaduto currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the X-ray Breast Imaging Subcommittee and as Chair of Task Group No. 419 on performance testing of contrast-enhanced mammography systems. He serves on the volunteer research faculty at Stony Brook Medicine, and is a periodic reviewer for Medical Physics, the Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Physics in Medicine and Biology and the Breast Journal. David is a Radiological Physicist with Portland-based Physics Consultants, Inc.
