This program will review how patient size can influence, not only image quality, but also patient dose. The definition of SNR will be discussed, as well as the effect of pulse rate on image quality and patient dose. The importance of SSD and SID on patient skin dose will also be examined.

At the completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Recall how patient size affects radiation dose
  • Define SNR
