About this Program

Cone Beam CT (CBCT) technology continues to find new clinical utility as a point-of-care imaging modality for imaging the head and extremities in an expanding array of clinical practices, including Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, and the dramatic recent expansion into specialty and general Dentistry.

 

This webinar will address technical aspects of CBCT that are different from whole-body multi-detector CT systems, primarily aimed at the practicing medical physicist or radiologic technologist with QC responsibilities. We will also review essential aspects of Accreditation of CBCT systems, primarily from the perspective of the medical physicist and radiologic technologist.

Robert Pizzutiello

MS, FACR, FAAMP, FACMP

The speaker is an actively practicing consultant and medical physicist with 40 years of experience, certified by the American Board of Medical Physics in Diagnostic Imaging Physics (with current ABR equivalency). He has been active with CBCT imaging systems for more than a decade, performing medical physics surveys, serving as consultant to CBCT manufacturers, and serving on the board of directors for the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission CT Accreditation program, where he is currently President-elect. Mr. Pizzutiello continues to be an active speaker, and has presented more than 300 invited lectures in the USA, South America and China…as well as dozens of webinars.

Webinars less than 8 hours of credit

Refunds, minus a $15 processing fee, will be granted for cancellations received at least 3 days prior to the program. Cancellations received within 3 days of the webinar will receive a credit toward a future MTMI program, minus the $15 processing fee. No refunds will be made after the webinar starts. MTMI reserves the right to cancel any scheduled program because of low advance registration or other reasons. MTMI’s liability is limited to a refund of any program tuition paid. WEBINAR ATTENDEES that cannot log in due to unsolvable technical issues beyond their control will be eligible for a full refund.
