Overview
About this On Demand
With imaging facilities facing heightened pressure by government-subsidized healthcare agencies to achieve elevated patient satisfaction ratings, imaging professionals need to be reminded of the essential steps to caring for patients in the imaging environment.
This video will cover the importance of obtaining an accurate patient history, and the ethical considerations for caring for a patient while in the imaging department. The video will outline what is considered a medical emergency and the reporting of such events. Also covered is the emphasis of obtaining lab results, and having the ability to interpret those results, prior to a CT study in order to protect the patient from further injury or illness.
